Juli is working on a new series of paintings, inspired by the abandoned homes and ruins
found in her hometown. She was intrigued by the mystery of the abandoned Victorian home at Gloucester Point, and felt
compelled to capture it on canvas. Just two weeks after she finished painting it, developers razed the old home.

Juli is continuing to paint landscapes, inspired by travels with her husband. They
have recently been to Assateague and the Outer Banks of North Carolina. She felt moved to paint the romantic lighthouses.
During the summer, they traveled to both Jamaica and Niagra Falls, New York. Again, she was inspired by the beauty of
her surroundings, and created works that reflect how deeply she is moved by the beauty of nature.
